In today's lesson I go over a very interesting technique that Kiko Loureiro (guitarist for Megadeth and ex-guitarist in Angra) likes to employ. It is a very original and signature sound in Kiko's playing and it all revolves around the technique of Hybrid Picking. The technique consists of playing mostly a power chord type of figure with a specific rhythm. This is all applied to the instrument by playing with both the pick and fingers. Hope you guys like it!
