In this video I go ove a very cool slide technique that Allan Holdsworth likes to apply when going over some winding type legato moves. I decided to apply the slide to a Paul Gilbert type wind up lick (his famous alternate picking lick) which I did with some legato; while playing it over the Whole Tone scale. It's a very fun and modern sounding move that you can apply to any scale. Give it a try!
