A very cool picking technique that I picked up while studying for my "Shawn Lane Guitar Concepts and Techniques" video. While trying to figure out how to get those mixed and odd groupings of notes up to speed I found a very particular picking combo that mixes economy picking with a slight bit of legato right at the end. This made switching strings a whole lot easier and it translated into being able to play these lines a whole lot easier and more importantly... a lot faster! Especially without tensing up the hands. I thought I would share this with you guys seeing as it definitely helped me out a whole bunch!
